Why Status Quo Questions?
I’m a big believer that God’s truth changes lives – for the better! I’ve seen firsthand how God can turn hopeless situations around, and now this blog seeks to look at questions, thoughts, and challenges that come along with the journey of growing as Christians.
Christianity, Christians, and churches seem to be more often known for their rules and judgement than their love… But that’s not the heart of the Gospel message. When life-saving truth is replaced with popular but watered down imitations, with that also comes less clarity on what it means to have a genuine, life-changing relationship with God.
My heart and hope with this blog is to look at how biblical truth applies to Christian living. Everyone here is learning each step of the way, so conversations and questions are always welcome. Regardless of where we are in the journey, God can bring peace to our lives, families, churches, and communities when we turn to Him.
